[android-developers] android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.insert ignore invalid columns

Hey Guys,

I am on a bit of a stretch here. I am looking for a way to use the
SQLiteDB insert statement above with the contentValues variables that
go with it BUT I want to ignore any content values in there which do
not have a column in which to insert the value. Is this possible is
there a switch anywhere? I know I can sort it out myself in code by
selecting the column names and weeding out the invalid ones but I was
praying there was a switch on the insert function to say ignore
invalid columns.
