You are telling Android that you want to have each TextView take up as
much space as its text requires (android:layout_width="wrap_content") and
if that does not exactly fit the width, use the weights to deal with any
extra space or shortfalls.

If you do not want to use the text length as a determining factor in the
width, then use android:layout_width="0px" and use the weights to
determine who gets how much space. You cannot use a weight of 0 in this
case.

Do not rely on Eclipse's GUI preview. Run your code in the emulator.
