Friend Machine

If I could have one wish
I would ask for a friend machine.
Because I know
How important friends are.
But then I realize.

 

Friends cannot be mass produced.
Friends are each unique.
Each has its own special characteristics.
No friend I could make
could compare to you.

  

You see, the machine couldn't match
your smile or sense of humor.
Your friendship is priceless,
and I want you to know.
I won't be needing a friend machine.

Because I have all the "friend" I need in you.
