In GWT 2.0, there will no longer be a platform-specific version of the gwt-dev jar, so this problem will go away.

For now, one way to handle it would be to leave a reference to the platform-specific jar in the project's classpath. The other developer will need to modify the classpath and change out this entry to map to the appropriate plaform-specific version.

Another way to handle it would be by defining a classpath variable, and referencing that in your classpath. That way, the other developer does not have to modify and files that are in source control.

In terms of .launch files, you should not have to worry about this. The launch configuration should reference your project's classpath. As you update your project's classpath, the .launch file will be updated appropriately. So, you don't need to have separate .launch files for each platform.
