[android-developers] inputbox text validation

i am using this to create an inputbox.

it works, but i need a validation

i put following code inside onClick method for Yes

String text = input.getText().toString().trim();
boolean b1 = (null == text);
boolean b2 = ("" == text);
boolean b3 = (0 == text.length());
if(b1 || b2 || b3) {
}
else {
d.dismiss();
}

even though it goes to if block, still the inputbox is disappearing, i
need that this should stay till i enter a non empty string.

any helps are thankfully appreciated
