Re: Code marked as error in Eclipse

Perhaps the Java Build Path is not correct.

You can use the Google Eclipse Plugin (GEP) to configure the build path.

You don't mention which version of GWT you're using.
Right-click on the project name, select "Build Path", select "Configure Build Path, select the "Libraries" tab. You should see the GWT libraries.

I am just getting started with GWT and I encountered what I am going
to say is an annoyance.  I used the plugin to generate the starter
project.  I can run the starter project in hosted mode without any
errors and I do not see any compile errors.

When I open the java file on the client side, there are many lines of
code that have been marked with errors.  Most of them of the "cannot
resolve to type" messages.  The GWT classes are being imported at the
beginning of the file.  Those imports have a red line under the
com.google portion.

Is this normal or is there a setting in Eclipse that I need to fix?
