[android-developers] Web server to use user-agent to determine if request was from Android

Hello all,

I am curious about what user-agents we can expect the Android phones to use by default when using WebView.  I am considering checking user-agents strings for "mobile" and "android" to determine if request to server is from an Android phone.


With a G2 development phone, WebView requests use:

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; Google Ion Build/CRB43) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1
