Google maps JS api not working FF3

Hi, I'm working on a Windows XP machine using FF3 and when I go to the
page
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/map-simple.html
I get the following errors. This is working fine in IE8.

missing : after property id

GMap2 is not defined
var map = new GMap2(document.getElementById("map_canvas"));\n
