I don't know the technical details but they can add CDMA devices to their network by assigning some numbers, same procedure for China Telecom, on which some Palm Pres are currently running ;)

China Unicom has NO android devices yet, but some CDMA android phones, e.g. Hero, can work on their CDMA network.  Unfortunately, those users might be running a pirate version of your app...
