schema not being added to any query
I am using postgres as my database. I was getting a "no relation
found error" for ALL queries until I reliazed that the schema name was
NOT being used, even though I set the schema in the database.php
file. To solve this I moved my tables to the public schema and
swtiched the schema prop to say "public". That way it doesn't matter
if cakephp leaves the schema off because the public schema is the
"default" schema for postgres.
Is the schema supposed to be used, but for some reason the support is
not implemented?
//db config before changing
var $default = array(
'driver' => 'postgres',
'persistent' => false,
'host' => 'localhost',
'login' => 'mylogin',
'password' => 'mypassword',
'database' => 'mydatabase',
'schema' => 'myschema',
'prefix' => '',
);
//db config after moving to public
var $default = array(
'driver' => 'postgres',
'persistent' => false,
'host' => 'localhost',
'login' => 'mylogin',
'password' => 'mypassword',
'database' => 'mydatabase',
'schema' => 'public',
'prefix' => '',
);
