Guide to Part Time Business Opportunities - Do it Part-Time Or Full-time?

Are you wondering whether you should do your home-based business on a
part-time or full-time basis? Are you unsure whether it is time to
fully dedicate your time to your business? Well, you are certainly not
alone...this is one of the common questions being asked by serious
entrepreneurs. Maybe I can help you on that.
Let me be very frank with you...The very fact you are asking that very
question shows that you are not ready YET to go full-time. So then,
how do you tell if you are ready? You heart will tell you. YOU and
ONLY YOU can decide whether you are ready to burn your boats or not.
But before you do so, ensure that the following precautions are
taken...
1. Ensure you can sustain yourself financially; 6 months of running
expenses is a good ballpark. Remember, no business is going to give
returns right away. It takes time. Ensure you do not starve during
those initial days. Be responsible and savvy. Of course, once your
business profits exceed your regular job pay, it's easy to switch over
to the better side permanently. Work hard to get your business profits
up to your regular daytime income as early as humanly possible and
then you can think about quitting you job. In my case, I was already a
full-time entrepreneur.
2. How confident are you about yourself? Are you certain that you can
make it even without a financial backup? If you answer 'Very' to both
these questions, then I would say go for it full-time. The main
advantage for being a full-timer is FOCUS. You don't have any job
distractions to take you off course. And since your income depends on
how well you perform in your business, you will take it
seriously...very seriously.
3. How reliable is the company? Is the company you represent a
reliable enterprise? What if it doesn't last long? I am not trying to
make doubting-Thomas's out of you, but you have to take this into
consideration. The company that I am representing has been in
existence for the past 4~5 years and is doing extremely well. If you
are in such a company then you don't have anything to worry about.
At the end of the day, do you due diligence and decide for yourself on
what course of action to take, to be successful in your business. Take
