HorizontalSplitPanel display problem in GWT 2.0

Hello,

I was having some problem with adding HorizontalSplitPanel to a
VerticalPanel and found this issue report that describes my exact
problem:

I didn't see a resolution on the issue. Has it been fixed? If not,
can anyone suggest a workaround?
