Although I am really not sure what you meant by "observe them being rendered." 

(could mean you were after which ones are visible in view currently)

EGeoXml puts a reference to each element in an array of its own type

which is readily accessible after the full thing is parsed and similarly

GeoXml puts them all in a single array.
