I have no clue about the purpose of getting unique hashcode but it
would be nice if you can define a custom method getHashcode() in your
client code which generates a hashcode (int) based on contents (text
or attributes or children) of the node. This will generate the same
hashcode each time even after re-parsing the XML document.
