Re: Display mysql results on Zoom

OK I am just thinking here--

When someone looks at the map, you could .getBounds() and do a SELECT
for all records that are within the lat/lng bounds, and if there are
fewer than say 10 or 20 records you could then put markers on the map
representing all the retailers. Otherwise, do nothing. The issue is,
you do .getBounds() in javascript on the client, then ask the server
for the records, then have the client put markers on the map if there
are only a few. You could limit the zoom levels that would ask the
server for records to reduce the overhead.

Hope that's reasonable.
