[Rails] UBUNTU 10.04 and rails?

I'm currently running ubuntu 9.10 karmic , and i know that 10.04 is
coming out this week.

I'm currently in the middle of a project, and I'm not sure if Rails
still works with 10.04.

Also, do i lose all my database tables, files, ruby, rails, etc if i
update? Thanks
