[Rails] OSS project for hyperlocal information

To the Ruby community:

CityCircles builds information tools for hyperlocal communities to
share information. Our first implementation is a platform for the
light rail/mass transit community in Phoenix, Arizona, to share news,
events and more around each of the light rail stations. The project
won a Knight News Challenge grant in June 2009 because of its goal: to
boost civic engagement, greener lifestyles, and city improvement in
the inner city around transit stations.

Our beta launch was in March, and we are seeking help from passionate,
dedicated and knowledgeable OSS developers to use our existing test
suite to make CityCircles even better and, in turn, make an impact on
several communities worldwide. The entire project will be released
open-source under a GPL license in July, and any developers associated
with it will be named in that release.

If you are interested in helping us, please feel free to check out our
"public" code repository on Github:

We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
