[Rails] Re: struggling with accepts_nested_attributes_for

I have the edit working now:

<% form_for :item, @item, :url => { :action => 'update' } do |f| %>

instead of

<% form_for :item, :url => { :action => 'update' } do |f| %>

Adding the @item to the form made all the difference, and I'm seeing the
same results that you are.
