Might be worth taking note of the 'Pitfall' at the botom of
http://econym.org.uk/gmap/custommap.htm
Providing custom map zoom levels up to 18 *shouldn't* be necessary for
reprojecting GMarkers, but output from GGeoXml isn't quite ordinary
GMarkers?
