Adding internal routes for a campus

Hi there
Im integrating google maps api for my university . Apparently we need
to add routes from one building to another within the campus address.
I have the lat/long points for each building however upon trying to
use the maps api when routing, it will hook around the nearest road
and then direct back into campus instead of mapping internally.
