[android-developers] Annotation Processing in Android java Builder

I have some custom Annotations and AnnotationProcessors I want to use.
However, the android JRE does not include the javax.lang.annotation
package and it appears the android java builder doesn't either. Am I
wrong about the latter point? The eclipse android plugin includes
four builders, one of which is the java builder. Is there a way to
substitute a different builder that can do Annotation Processing or is
the builder too different? Is there any way to do annotation
processing with the android SDK?
