Batch geocoding addresses from xml

Hi there,
I have an xml file containing many markers, each one with address:
something like this:

<markers>
<marker data1="xxx" data2="yyy" address="Milano Piazza Duomo"/>
</markers>

I would like to place markers on a map or recovering x,y coordinates.
How can I do that?
