Add stuff to scaffold's "add" action using a hook or so?

Hi all

I'd like to change some stuff of a scaffold's "add" action, but I
don't want to re-write its whole code. I'd rather just "sneak" some
more code into it, e.g. to set the flash based on the value of some
input.

Is this possible? Thanks.
