Re: Dynamically creating Google Maps

No, I don't want to embed a map on my webpage. I need to be able to
create the page linked below -
http://maps.google.com/maps/place?um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=Car+accident+Akron&fb=1&gl=us&hq=Car+accident&hnear=Akron,+OH&cid=9140118978130678364

It would really be a Google PLACES API I'm looking for, that would be
able to simulate going through the steps of this page -
http://www.google.com/local/add/analyticsSplashPage?gl=US&hl=en-US&service=lbc&hl=en-US&gl=US&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-google&utm_medium=ha

I'm not aware that a Google Places API exists though...
