Re: Static maps with map type terrain shows continents as black.
Update: looks like map types satellite and hybrid are affected by this
issue too.
The only working map type is roadmap.
Also, I was advised to use some workaround like using only roadmap map
type as this is a known issue but there is no ETA for a fix at this
time.
