[android-developers] Re: Android webview Searching Issue

I got it working in 2.2 by using this after my findAll call:

try {
Method m = WebView.class.getMethod("setFindIsUp", Boolean.TYPE);
m.invoke(webView, true);
} catch (Exception ignored) {}

I tried this at the suggestion of user "cccandroid" at
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=9018.
