[android-developers] Re: Client server app and wifi

Of course it is possible. It is possible to sit on a hedgehog, too;)
But neither is necessarily advisable. Neither is very comfortable.

The problem I expect you will encounter in using one phone as a server
for another is that the carrier network really is not optimized for
that kind of traffic: they really were expecting it is the download
direction that needed to be optimized, not the upload.

OTOH, if you are running both phones on the same local WiFi net, this
is not a problem; then you much more freedom to do interesting things
with it.
