[Google Maps API v2] Map works in IE but note Chrome

The following map, which shows markers for major cities with a
polyline drawn between them, retrieved from the
GDirections.loadFromWaypoints, always renders correctly in IE but
almost never does in Google Chrome. Any ideas? Is it something I'm
doing wrong or a bug?
