Re: Google Maps API not available for the public

If you don't want to abide by the terms, you can always use one of the
open source options like Open Layers with the Open Street Maps. They
are not as cool as Google's API but they have no restrictions like
Google's API has.

The thing is, the restrictions Google places on their API are totally
reasonable and can be expected.

The premier license starts at $10,000.
