[Google Maps API v2] Using more than one map per Joomla install

I have inherited a web site that uses Joomla r.1.05
and it uses the Google Maps API v. 2x

It works fine with the orignanal installation:
correct API key and intial settings for long & lat
and it delivers directions as proported.

My question is:
Can I generate another Joomla article with a different map (with a
different destination address) than the other map already in use in
another article?
It looks to me that Joomla will only support one installaiton of the
Google PlugIn. Is this true? If not, how do I install another? Or more
simply, how can get the second map to display and operate with a
unique starting address?

Any direction would be helpful. Thnx Keith
