I'm new and need help

Hello,

I am new to using any type of MVC framework. 10+ years experience with
PHP but always used the "top-down" method with includes.

My interests are in CMS and I have installed cake and have the blog
tutorial working but can't seem to get ACL working. I used the
tutorial for ACL and broke everything, can't understand the "adding
permissions" section.

Any help would be appreciated
