[android-developers] SoftKeyPad without Text Box

Hi All,

If i click on Edit Text i am getting softkeypad with the text box,
which will cover the whole screen.
So i am not able to see what is happening behind till i close the
softkey board.

Does any one knows how to show softkeypad without textbox??
