[Google Maps API v2] Incorrect size of the pop window when populate with picasa pictures

I work on a map with various feeds kml/kmz, one of comes from Picasa
(John's live stream):

The problem that I encounter on the images from Picasa:
Once clicked, the detail of the image appear bigger than the frame. A
second
click on it to reopen and no more problems, image into the frame.

I create an issue since month without any reply:

What I can do ? I cannot move the map to v3, because we want the
integration of Earth into the map and I dont think it's supported in
v3, so I will stay on v2.

Any help, suggestions?
