As an aside, to find what broadcast intents are available, you can check in a few places:

• In your platform folder for the version of Android you are targeting, look for the broadcast_actions.txt file. This contains the string action for any intent that the system can broadcast.
• You can also check the documentation for Intent, which has many (I don't know if it has all) of the actions listed as constants. These also may have documentation about the intent broadcast that you would need to use it.
