[android-developers] Use shared preferences on non-app directory file

Shared Preferences is a handy tool, the only problem is that as far as
I can tell it only works on files in the app directory. Is there a way
to use shared preferences on a different directory? I've tried simply
putting a path in the file string but that crashes.
