[Google Maps API v2] Passing the Google Map to email from an application

Hi All,

We have generated the Google Map using Google API (GMAP2 and
GDirections).

Our requirement is to sent an email with the Map and the directions.

We would like to know whether GMP2 or GDirections provides any method
by which we can generate the staticURL of the map based on the from
and to addresses that we are providing.

Could you please let me know if there are some alternatives to make
this work, if there are no straight forward method available?
