GWT 2.1 MVP / AppController

I'm in the process of converting our GWT application from using the
"old" MVP architecture (based on "Large scale application development
and MVP, Parts I and II) to GWT 2.1 MVP. With some help from this
forum I'm making good progress. However, I'm now grappling with the
following. Do I still define an AppController class or does something
from the new MVP take its place? Thanks
