Re: Header + Footer with GWT 2.1 MVP

Sorry, I was confused because David C. said this in the thread which he linked to: "In this design, the WestActivity could call placeController.goTo(detailPlace), where DetailPlace is mapped only in the EastActivityMapper so the westPanel won't change." When I read that, I think that what I tried to do should work, but I probably just misinterpreted it. 

The header will need to change slightly, in reaction to events which change the nav bar appearance, and that of the user bar. But, I could do that with a widget, right? Or would the having another activity be better in any way?
