Nope, no such luck. While in search of the lost child, I also
discovered that linking from the browser to Market is borked,
like such:

id=com.myapp.package">Jump directly to Android&trade; Market</a>

results in an unfriendly
"The requested item could not be found" pop-up dialog.
Not sure when that broke, I haven't tried that until recently. Still
works like a charm on 1.6
