Beginner question about Postgresql

I am using Python27, Django and wanted to us Postgresql, but I am
having problems.

When I start a new project and run syncdb for the first time I get an
error.

\postgresql_psycopg2\base.py line24....................."Improperly
Configured: Error loading psycopg2 module: no medule named psycopg2"

I have loaded psycopg2 so I am lost.
