[Google Maps API v2] API Useful for calculating distance

Dear Sir / Madam,

Let me introduce my self, I am Kalpesh, from Ambit Software, working
as Sr. Consultant – Enterprise Solutions.

I have one project in which need to calculate distance from one
location to another and store that data in database, please let me
know which API will be effective for doing this.
