Why should I use Request Factory instead RPC?

If my RPC classes can be used in client side and server side, and in
Request Factory I have to create a Proxy interface. This is not boiler
plate code?

Why is better to use Request Factory against GWT-RPC? Or to do what is
better?

What are your experiences?
