[android-developers] Force removal of expired cookies from a WebView?

I have a WebView that I populated via the CookieSyncManager with a session cookie I receive from an HttpPost.

When I perform a logout on my WebView (by calling loadUrl with my logout url), my session cookie should be expired, and I wish to delete it.  The session is properly deleted when I perform this action manually in the browser.

In my WebViewClient onPageFinished, I've tried calling a few different combinations of CookieSyncManager.sync() and CookieManager.removeExpiredCookie().  Nothing has worked.  Does anyone have any tips?
