[android-developers] Google Maps Source Code

Is it possible to see the source of some of the GM classes? I posted
this question a few weeks ago:

And there have been zero comments.

The above referenced code works in "Open Street Maps", and should work
in GM as far as I can tell. Basically I'd like to keep the same code
base for both frameworks.
