[android-developers] How to click MapView points automatically

How can my app automatically make points in MapView behave as if the
user had clicked on them?
I want the balloons which I've created for the points to all appear
automatically.

I've tried for each OverlayItem to call setState and setting the state
to 6 or 7 (the ITEM_STATE_* values), but nothing changes on the
display.
