[android-developers] how to get focus(selection) to listactivity?

hi,

i am using listactivity to diaplay list.and here is my xml code for
listview.
<ListView
android:id="@+id/android:list"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:divider="@color/grey"
android:dividerHeight="1px"
android:drawSelectorOnTop="true"
android:listSelector = "@drawable/list_pressed"/>

i am not getting focus anyway. list_pressed is my selector xml.
