[android-developers] Notification

After doing some work in a service - i'd like to
create a notification with just a message - no Intent.

Just like to let the user know of the status of the
operation.

Notification notification = new Notification(icon, tickerText, when);

notification.setLatestEventInfo(context, contentTitle, contentText,
NO_INTENT_HERE );

NotificationManager mNotificationManager =
(NotificationManager)getSystemService(Context.NOTIFICATION_SERVICE);
mNotificationManager.notify(1, notification);

possible?
