I was basically thinking of a screen burn-in type of problem. I looked
around a little, and apparently people have had screen burn-in
problems on android phones even though they ideally shouldn't on newer
screens.

I will probably just go ahead & change the way my program works, but
wondering why the newer phones give an option of screen time out as
"Never" if this is a known issue.
