dependent fields in the Editor framework

I'd like to edit a structure like this:

class Sum {

  int a;

  int b;

  int sum; // = a + b

}

Fields a and b are edited by ValueBoxes, field sum is displayed by ValueLabel.

The field sum=a+b.  When a user modifies either a or b, I'd like the filed sum to be modified and the editor to reflect the modification (i.e., a user to see the change).

I thought ValueAwareEditor<Sum> would help but it does not seem to.  What would be the recommended approach wiring dependencies between fields?
