[Google Maps API v2] Need assistance with Google maps API

Hello all,

I am quite new at using Google Maps API and require some assistance. I
am trying to create a custom based map that my teacher requires for my
final project. I am practically done but I am missing two things that
he would like for use to include. One is a "zoom box" and an address
locator". I am been following the Harvard site (http://
maps.cga.harvard.edu/gmaps_instruction/exercise_02.html) for help and
I can't figure out how to implement the code from this site into my
own.

Any help would be appreciated. Here is my code and it neglects to show
the "zoom box" and "address locator" I am trying to add into the map.
